The “Jellyspoons” Story

The “Jellyspoons” Story

Jellyspoons Commercial Photography …the story!

Trying to come up with a sensible name for the company whilst being pregnant was proving difficult… so an easy solution…why did it need to be sensible?!

I remembered the word “Jellyspoons” from my childhood. So, I googled it and when I found this poem memories came flooding back of my Grandma & Grandpa reciting it to me when I was young, and that nailed it “Jellyspoons” was born!

Does anyone else remember this?

Ladles and jellyspoons, hobos and tramps.
Cross-eyed mesquitoes and bow-legged ants
Admission is free, buy your tickets at the door
Pull up a chair and sit on the floor.
I come before you to stand behind you
To tell you something I know nothing about.
I stand upon this speech to make a platform
the train i arrived in has not yet come
so i took a bus and walked
one fine day in the middle of the night
two dead boys got up to fight
back to back they faced each other
drew their swords and shot each other
a paralysed donkey walking by
kicked a blind man in the eye
knocked him through a 9 inch wall
into a dry ditch and drowned them all
a deaf policeman heard the noise
and came and shot those two dead boys
If you don’t believe this lie that’s true,
ask the blind man she saw it too.
